²⁴ Micaiah replied: “You shall find out on the day when you run from room to room in order to hide.”

²⁵ The king of Israel then ordered that Micaiah be seized and handed over to Amon, the governor of the city, and to Joash, the king’s son, ²⁶ and said: “Throw this man into prison and give him only a meager portion of bread and water until I return home safely.”
